Since 2003, Alex Shamash has been serving as the head of business development software at Messenger Plus!, an add-on feature for the popular Microsoft instant messaging service Windows Live Messenger. Messenger Plus! is a free service with more than 60 million users all over the world. In his role with the company, Alex Shamash is responsible for developing and executing new features to improve the service.

Messenger Plus! features a number of easy-to-use, highly customizable options that improve the Windows Live Messenger service. For instance, Log Search is a new option that enhances the popular Log Viewer service on Messenger Plus!. Log Search catalogues all conversations and allows users to scroll through the chat log with ease. Messenger Skinning, another new feature incorporated by Messenger Plus!, allows users to customize the look of each Messenger window with unique skins that are easy to download. These new skins are only a small part of a completely revamped Messenger Plus! interface, and are designed to make one of the world’s leading messaging services even more user-friendly.
